Surgical Procedures

Our surgery and anesthesia team has many years of experience, and our facilities have been certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Each procedure has a dedicated surgery tech, advanced monitoring equipment (EKG, Blood Pressure, Pulse Oximetry, Capnography), and is closely monitored throughout both surgical and/or dental procedures and recovery.

Our experienced doctors are skilled in a wide variety of surgical procedures. A list of common procedures includes:

  • Spay/Neuter
  • Dental Cleaning – including routine scaling and polishing
  • Dental Extraction – for diseased and/or damaged teeth
  • Mass Removal and Biopsy Procedures
  • Minor Wound and Trauma Repair
  • Eye surgery

Whitelands Animal Hospital’s (WAH’s) compassionate medial team has many years of veterinary experience, with both routine and emergency cases. Our American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) approved facilities can provide routine and advanced diagnostics and treatments.

Patients admitted for hospitalized care are cared for by our experienced WAH medical team. WAH has a large in-house pharmacy, advanced monitoring equipment, and the ability to perform intravenous treatments.

In-hospital lab tests can be run for immediate results or, for more specialized lab tests, samples are picked up daily by our comprehensive outside diagnostic laboratory.

Digital X-rays are taken and evaluated on-site by our experienced veterinary staff. We are also able to evaluate cardiac function with blood pressure measurement and EKG. If further analysis is required, both x-rays and EKGs can be sent for online review by a board-certified radiologist or cardiologist.
